First started in 1986, Camp Hoosegow has become a favorite event for members and their children. Camp Hoosegow is the SJPOA’s annual weekend camping trip for members and their children at the Santa Clara County Peace Officers’ Campgrounds in Saratoga. 

This trip offers: one on one time with your child(ren), comradery, a “weekend off” for your partner, time to unplug and enjoy nature, a chance to bond over archery skills (or lack thereof), and opportunities to make new friends and build memories.

Included with the $20 fee per family: a camping spot, lunch and dinner on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday, a movie under the stars, playground, character performers, bounce house, as well as a shirt and goodie bag for each child.
