Is there a dress code at the San Jose Country Club?

Per the San Jose Country Club: "Our Golf Course dress code requires shirts with collars. Golf slacks, appropriate length shorts and neatly presented jeans are allowed. Shirt tails must be tucked in at all times.

The dress code in the clubhouse is less formal. Jeans are acceptable attire but we don’t allow tank tops, swim attire, short shorts or any other clothing that is not customary at a private country club."

We are excited to announce that the SJPOA Charitable Foundation’s 18th Annual Chaplaincy Golf Tournament has been scheduled for Monday, August 31, 2026, at the San Jose Country Club. Funds raised from this golf tournament benefit the San Jose Police Chaplaincy program, which was founded by a group of police officers in 1977. The program operates with the approval and support of the San Jose Police Department Administration and the San Jose Police Officers’ Association. They provide service to the members and families of the San Jose Police Department and also the community, regardless of religious affiliation or belief. They do so free of charge and operate solely on donations. The Chaplains take part in many San Jose Police Department functions, such as promotion and graduation ceremonies. Most

importantly, they are there during times of crisis and emergency to provide counseling and support.

Our Annual Golf Tournament has become a favorite event and usually sells out at 144 golfers. We invite you to be a part of this memorable occasion as a sponsor, donor of merchandise or services, and of course, as a participant. If you are interested, please
